Latest Gig News

A belated thanks to everyone who came along to our CROOKES gig last month; another top night, frequented by the likes of Felix Maccabee and John Goldheart (of whom more in a minute).

Crookes, playing their first proper London headline gig, have really started upping their game over the past few months, which leads nicely into the release of their new ‘Dreams Of Another Day’ EP which is out at the end of this month (and includes a lot of the early stuff, not least the live favourite ‘Backstreet Lovers’).

Meanwhile MOON VISIONARIES, playing only their fourth ever gig, were awash with neat guitar interplay and rich-sounding vocals and BOY MANDEVILLE jigged around, a little like a London version of Vampire Weekend waiting impatiently at a bus stop. Cheers to all involved.

This month though, and if I had a fanfare, I’d be on the roof blowing it, we present a special one-off semi-acoustic headline set from GOLDHEART ASSEMBLY. Yes, really! GOLDHEART ASSEMBLY!

Off the back of their Reading and Leeds appearances, they’ll be topping the bill, supported by TOM WILLIAMS & THE BOAT and one other band still to be confirmed. It’s Thursday, 16th September at the Kentish Town Bull & Gate.

Tickets are already on sale here if you want to get in early. It’s £7 in advance. But worth every penny.
